Excellent product at a good price, and arrived quickly. Originally, I bought just the one clear lens cover to replace the existing red fog light cover (now using a red fog lamp bulb) just for a fresh look. However, the new clear lens was a lot clearer and crisp than the original (duller) reverse lens cover on my 2012 Caterham on the other side of the car – and so I ended up buying another clear lens cover from JAL as well. That’s not a criticism, all I am saying is that if you are planning to do what I did (i.e. replace the red fog light lens cover with a clear one) then it might be worth buying a pair of clear lens covers at the same time – so once fitted, the reverse and fog light covers on back of the car end up looking exactly the same and nicely balanced.

I wanted a symmetrical look to the rear of my Caterham and given that I installed the JAL rear LED fog light unit I could use a clear lens… unfortunately these are quite delicate and can easily crack when secured using the screws. I suspect that a rubber grommet is required to reinforce the backing inside the light lens. This will prevent the screw from applying too much pressure on the plastic lens.

I changed the standard lights on my new build 420R to JAL LED Lights a few months ago and recently decided to go to clear lenses throughout. Since I had previous great service from JAL I purchased the clear lenses from them. The seem to be good quality fit and look great. Very pleased with the lenses.
